        I provide a variety of technical writing services, particularly copywriting, which engage customers. My writing products convey complex information precisely and document content for marketing, products, education, and task completion. They include context specific copywriting and editing, reports, user guides or manuals, proposals, historic preservation applications, product description, process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOP), and other writing varieties. Creative problem solving is a common feature in my writing. And all types are supported by research to shape them for accuracy and fit. When working with or training AI, I utilize trust-worthy references (form and kind) to model requested content. 

       I don't write application programming interface (API) documentation or software specifications 

documents (SSD). 

       I am proficient in the MS Office suite of tools and Google Docs, versed in Canva, Adobe, AutoCAD, CMS (Word Press), and experienced in CRM databases and communications tools such as Canvas, Slack, and Zoom. 

       My technical writing expertise and experience is built on an architectural and business foundation. It is topped with a lifetime of experience.

I customize my writing products to meet specific applications and customer needs. With each I carefully distill information with a top-down approach, structure it appropriately to ensure all aspects of an assignment are addressed, and finish it with beautiful writing.

       I hold a Bachelors of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic and State University (VPI) and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from The University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver). I regularly research, read, take classes, and participate in continuing education to increase my subject knowledge. I am a licensed, Basic LEED-certified architect in good standing. 

       I've been writing enthusiastically since I could hold a pencil. What defines me specifically is that I love writing, all kinds, and can intertwine creativity with accuracy to successfully tailor content to specific audiences. Precise and engaging writing is foundational to my success as a technically competent, problem-solving creative. Being a "people-person" who cares about those I serve helps me understand and better judge customer needs. My most significant education in writing comes from my English minor in Deconstructionist poetry from VPI and the many business writing classes I've taken at CU Denver, community colleges, online, and in person. I regularly participate in writing critique groups and attend writer’s conferences.
